I tend to agree with you Matt. Robert Elstone runs the club whilst Bill Kenwright is a co-owner and figurehead. That said, it is worrying that he owns a quarter of the club and doesn't know where a quarter of the clubs expense goes though! (I'm not saying Bill takes it)

I haven't checked but it's been said that it's a loan from a BVI registered company called Vibrac. I didn't purchase details even though they're only a pound but I've read that it's a loan secured against 2012-13 season tv revenue from a BVI registered company. i.e. not a bank

He became a major shareholder in the club in 1999 as part of True Blue Holdings, his title makes no difference.

I did not see it but apparently agent Barry Silkman has just been on Sky Sports saying there had been three enquiries about Baines and that Kenwright has said not a penny less than £20m.
