  1. George Fletcher - Everton in the Community Ability Counts squad Roy Turnham - Everton's team in the National Blind League (Chelsea supporter though!) Michael Barker - formerly of Everton academy, was run over by a bus, suffered a fractured skull and now plays for England's Cerebal Palsy team
  2. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/246958/Leicester-battling-Everton-for-striker-signing/
  3. He did well though, I remember Match of the Day doing a feature on him because he impressed the panel. After a few games into the season he was involved in an incident (I don't know the details) in the city centre (at the Odeon) and it may be coincidence, but he was told shortly after he had to play with the reserves/youth team until further notice because he missed out on development during his leg break and people at the club felt he needed time to round-off/mature as a person.
  4. A San Antonio-based philanthropist decided to form a new franchise (read as club) last year. He took to a public meeting and they chose the name San Antonio Scorpions, they play at a high school's stadium whilst the owner is preparing to build the team their own stadium and for their first ever home game, over 13,000 people attended. That's not a bad start, shame about the result though. They lost 4-0. http://sanantoniosco...-sold-out-crowd
  5. Played alongside Charley Edge in a 1-0 loss to the Swiss: http://www.faw.org.u...ws/FAW84515.ink

  7. Fourth official on twitter has suggested that Drenthe has been in contact with Liverpool. He's able to talk to non Spanish teams about transferring on a bosman.
  8. I've just bought a ticket to a talk with John Carlos, could be interesting. He's the Black Power protester from the 1968 Olympics.
  9. It trailed off after season 3 in my opinion. I think Joffrey is well cast.. because you do want to smack him, although the Starks are no angels themselves. I haven't watched any of the season 2 yet. I heard it cost $60m to make the first series.
  10. Average odds on odd checker: Liverpool win 11/8 Everton win 85/40
  11. It was, there were lots of references to Grand Theft Auto in it too. It was an amusing game because of that as well as the The Simpsons humour. Zoo - Have you tried Apple Jack ? I loved it and it is only 80 MS points (60p or so). http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Apple-Jack/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80258550530
  12. I will do Mr Zoo. Hit and Run is vastly underrated.
  13. I've just bought 'The Simpsons' game on xbox 360. I remember playing the demo and thinking it was hard, so far the game has been quite easy! Simpsons Hit and Run was a classic. I've ordered Red Dead Redemption with all DLC for £15, but it's currently out of stock.
  14. I'm not confident about this at all. Liverpool are the ultimate cup team. I can see Liverpool wiping the floor with us.
  15. I couldn't post in that thread, it crashed for me. I've split the quiz topic up into 2 and closed the original. I'll look to see what the problem could be now that its happened for me.
  16. I haven't experience the problem yet, I've contacted the hosts and they're the same situation.
  17. Swan Lake, Ballet Suite, Op.20: Waltz ! Because of the new Arsenal advert sadly.
  18. I didn't think it was any good to be honest. Still, not as bad as the homophobia documentary, I thought that was especially bad.
  19. Airdrie United, sponsored by a railway company printed a photo of soldiers on a train saying goodbye to their loved ones on the front cover of the Remembrance Sunday special issue. Only problem? The soldiers were Germans.
  20. I don't know, I asked the hosts to look into it earlier. I'm awaiting the response.

  22. Gabby Logan did a documentary for the BBC, it was aired last night. Now on iplayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01fkcgh/Sexism_in_Football/
