He looks to be leaving this summer. His agency director is quoted as saying that Tim Cahill is interested in moving to the Gulf because he wants to experience something different. Two clubs in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia); Al Nassr (Victory) and Al-Hilal (Crescent) have been in touch. Apparently, Al Nassr spoke to him in August but Cahill didn't want to move on then.

I become annoyed with Radio Merseyside earlier.. they had a sociologist on who was to talk about the effect of football on people... it was a 2 minute interview and all that was said is Joey Barton is bit mad and an anecdote about being escorted to Goodison Park by fans because he said he was a blue (he's a Man City fan) before the interview ended. If you're going to get someone from the academia world on the show, at least make sure it has a purpose.
