  1. The cats lot would be banned I'm in the dog's corner.
  2. The French, when they're running away. I would consider Caribbean countries sprinting countries to be honest... although for some reason I don't find it odd that they had a bob-sleigh team in 1988.. I loved Cool runnings
  3. The shame! http://www.wirralglobe.co.uk/news/9850413.EXCLUSIVE__Soldier___s_grave_destroyed_by_L_driver_taking_a_lesson_through_Landican_Cemetery/
  4. That just reminds me of Macho Man Randy Savage.. I like Jerusalem.. but that's about England and it was apparently written tongue in cheek.
  5. What you buy in store is different material to what players wear apparently.
  6. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/contract-cock-up-sees-everton-defender-1221122 Um.. what? How could an Everton official not know how long he had left.. I hope this is not true.. sounds ominous that he'll leave though.
  7. To be fair, they've probably put more in than the board.
  8. It's not Everton's board that is receiving three new members, it's the Everton Shareholders Association, they are replacing four leaving members with three new ones.
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk...T15:06:54-00:00 1 hour 47 mins in.. Yikes, I was surprised he wasn't sent off.
  10. I'm a bit embarrassed by it to be honest.
  11. They were wearing blue shorts with a 3inch-wide white stripe with it the other day, it looked terrible. I'm presuming they were training shorts or from the third kit.
  12. Nice view Mike.. What did you make of the stadium?
  13. I've heard it suggested that the current wage is less than the £70k Pienaar wanted in 2010 and so their logic is that it's a good deal and the £1.5m will be 're-couped' within three years..
  14. Was he in the Dutch squad before moving to Swansea?
  15. When he came out on Thursday, the boos were the loudest I've ever heard.
  16. Good player but terrible business.. Sold for £3m in January 2011 and bought back for 50% more in July 2012 That's excluding the loan fee.
  17. If there were two kit shirts available for sale, one 'subsidised' by the sponsor at a cost £50 and the other without sponsor for £55 what would you choose?
  18. What was stopping you from doing it?
  19. The Bane voice was a bit iffy, I think it's because American audiences associate a posh British voice with malevolence.. it's why Alan Rickman's cast as a villain.. Opening scene with Bane and Littlefinger was amazing.. The Joseph Gordon Levitt character annoyed me.. too many leaps of faith.. So did Gordon actually: Another thing that annoyed me: Hathaway was impressive, I liked that she tried to imitate Pfeiffer's voice from Batman Returns. You just know that in the first scene Bruce Wayne wanted to give her a different type of peal necklace. But there were so many nice touches. The rope by the pit Catwoman's decision - similar to the video game Catwoman's goggles going up on her head to mimic cat ears. Scarecrow's cameo They should have called "The Bat" "The Bat-Wing".. sounds better! I liked the ambiguous ending
  20. What did we think then ? Please use [ spoiler ] tags so you don't ruin it for anybody..
  21. The MLS players' union publish the wages on their website. There's nothing stopping clubs from releasing information, they simply choose not to.
  22. That seems so backward, having opt-in advertising for a shirt sponsor. I prefer it though.. It goes against the grain, usually you have to pay to have adverts removed.
  23. Pienaar could be stripped of the South Africa captaincy.. South Africa's manager Gordon Igesund has hinted he beleives Pienaar will perform better without the burden of responsibility. "I have to sit Steven down and ask him if he wants the captaincy. Perhaps he's one of those lads who doesn't need the captain's armband to know he's the best player in the side," said Igesund.
