  1. Must be pushing it for sale then.. We don't usually wear it against Villa.. I'm not complaining though, it's nice to wear something other than the home kit. Last season's black kit was horrific though.
  2. I'm not convinced yet, time will tell. I know of one video game company which has licenses with football clubs and some clubs do not understand what's asked of them and offer little support.
  3. Mirallas is modelling it today. Incidentally, they were the shorts the team wore against Tranmere.

  5. If anybody wants to chip in for this month, it'd be appreciated. I've upgraded the service twice this month to tide us over the transfer deadline. The site was offline for a few minutes the other day and just now because people are visiting following the Man Utd result. I've had to upgrade the package on both occasions to keep the site active. It'll be restored to the normal package once the window has closed.
  6. I unfollowed him on twitter as soon he signed. So fickle.
  7. Rockstar, take my money!! http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/37991/transport.html

  9. We know what it looks like already.
  10. Spotted in town today.. http://goo.gl/maps/LKNQ8
  11. He's played with Fellaini in at least three tournaments (UEFA U19, U21 and the 2008 Olympics) so that's good. Were they at Standard Leige together?
  12. The season kicks off today and the third kit has still not been made available. I know I moan about it every year but one year I hope the club get it out in time and send it into Electronic Arts so that it can be in FIFA.
  13. That's something I thought about too and I think you're right.. the problem we have is that it's not in the interests financially of third parties to have a strong PFA (Player's Football Assocation - the union), at the moment it is a free for all. Although looking back, it is odd suggesting that football copy the NFL's example, I read that the NFL players union took the MLS to court in the mid nineties because they didn't want the MLS to be a single organisation company similar to how the NFL was run and wanted the MLS to be set up like a European club.
  14. That is the case at the moment, even the head of communications said as much recently., the wage bill can NOT be supported by revenue alone, which is why we player trade." and then when you take into account that the club have only made profit in the years Rooney and Lescott have been sold it does make sense. I'm naive enough to believe that it will come to an end this year due to the increased revenue.
  15. It's basically like borrowing against your guaranteed wages and paying 10% for the privilege when the the banks are charging 12%. It could be used for anything the club wants. This year it'll cost £200k more to borrow than it was last year. (You got the reference Ten'!)
  16. The end is surely in sight though, what with the bumper tv contract next year.
  17. Boo.. Hiss.. A new mortgage has appeared It's costing £1.5m Secured against: Premier League income basic fund for 2013/14 season Overseas broadcasting money for 2013/14 season Title sponsorship money for 2013/14 season Commercial contract money for 2013/14 season Radio contract money for 2013/14 season
  18. Welcome Mirallas, Darkwing Duck I'm optimistic about this player signing but I'm not yet convinced that he will.
