I moved the topics to a new thread to discuss the show. I've now listened to it, there was a lot of adverts! There's nothing new in there. Stan Collymore pretty much gave up the anonymity of his source when he said he'd been involved with Man City and Liverpool. It's pretty strange that someone who had been allowed to talk to the radio by Bill Kenwright and David Moyes would like to remain anonymous on national radio. I thought it was an interesting point forward that the price is high so to deter carpet baggers.

I've just come back from a screening of The Paperboy. IMDB has a rating of 5.7 which I think is pretty unfair, it was pretty good film. At times it was pretty gruesome, other times reasonably funny. The BBFC rating contains spoilers:

The new Sim City is receiving a rollicking from customers (USA, at east - it's not released in UK yet). Look at the rating on Amazon: Amazon in USA has pulled the product and will not sell any more until it's fixed. It's to do with a new type of DRM - a way of trying to prevent piracy. The game needs to be connected to the internet so that you can play, yet the servers are down so very few people can play. For a £65 downloadable game, it's not good enough.

I went into the pound bakery the other day, I saw some cake that was on the top shelf and labelled as £3 even though it was the same size as the others. I asked the woman who worked there (it turned out she was the owner) "How come that cake is £3 when everything else is £1 ?" She replied "That's madeira cake". Boom. Tish.

For someone who lives in Switzerland, you tend to get an awful lot of British media ITV live games and now BBC football statistics. StubHub have just bought the naming rights to the "Home Depot Center" - home of LA Galaxy and Chivas.

I watched Dungeon masters on Netflix the other night. It was a bit messed up but enjoyable. King of Kong was a good documentary on video game records.
