  1. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2327063/Premier-League-prize-money-table-final-game-2013-season.html EDIT - Daily Mail have reported Live TV income as £5.8m, it's £8.1m.
  2. I have mixed feelings on this. I think Moyes did an excellent job and I'm sad to see him go. I'm happy that he saw through his contract and not leaving us in the lurch during mid season, I think he will do a good job for Man Utd but at the same time I'm a little peeved that he left us for what I would consider to be a rival club. I'm also concerned that the people who are left to make the appointment of his replacement may be a little 'outmoded'.
  3. I think this may have been mentioned in Joe Royle's book, he said he offered Darren Bent to Everton when he was at Ipswich and Everton passed on him.
  4. He lives in Caldy.. it's a massive house (the most expensive ever on the Wirral apparently). I remember hearing that the plumber who fitted his new bathroom kept the old stuff for himself and his kid was telling people in school he had Benitez's old toilet.
  5. This? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/398681/David-Moyes-mulls-over-taking-Everton-coach-Jimmy-Lumsden-to-Manchester-United *Gulp* https://twitter.com/pete316/status/336150227482472448 - Pat Van den Hauwe has supposedly been saying that Stubbs is the next manager.
  6. It's up to the ref', last week Everton and West Ham both had white shorts. It should have been the black kit today Maybe the ref would think we are on his side.
  7. It's a pet hate of mine. They should wear the whole kit, not just cherry pick. Home kit:Blue shirt, white shorts, blue socks (it should be white socks - traditionally, another pet hate) Away kit: Black shirt, black shorts, black socks Third kit:White shirt, blue shorts, white socks. For some reason, we are wearing the home kit with the third shirt.
  8. Round is out of a contract this summer, he signed a five year deal in 2008. Lumsden is likely to retire in my opinion, he's now 65.
  9. He says Everton should build a new stadium near what is currently a public footpath so that a new rail line can be built there.
  10. Honestly, I'm concerned by it too. I'm not confident that he'll make the right choice (again).

  12. Bill Kenwright is quoted on Sky Sports website as saying that the peopled linked aren't too far away from who he has in my mind. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8721762/Premier-League-Bill-Kenwright-knows-who-he-wants-to-bring-in-as-manager
  13. Duncan Ferguson, David Weir, Alan Stubbs and Phil Neville have all reportedly been interviewed. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/four-ex-blues-interviewed-replace-david-3869002 It's just as well that our expectations are not being built up.
  14. It's a vicious circle, isn't it? Apparently they are going to share with Walsall next season.
  15. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-chief-left-ricoh-3869400 Club statement: http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-on-stadium-site-827103.aspx They're looking to move out of the Ricoh Stadium already due to problems with the owners.
  16. Tomorrow's Daily Star is running an article that claims Martinez has issued a "come and get me" plea to Everton. Image: http://imgur.com/i1L4Djm
  17. Six in the provisional squad, plus Eric Dier who was on loan a while ago. From an Evertonian point of view, the U20 World Cup is more interesting than the Euro U21 competition. Every other confederation bar UEFA use their U20 Championship to qualify for the World Cup, UEFA uses U19 and there's no point to the U21 competition unless it's an Olympic year.
  18. There's no sign of the new kit yet. I was trying to think when the last time we wore a third kit was, turns out it was Oldham away (a Twitter follower informed me) but I can't remember the last time before that.
  19. Wait... Sweden don't take it as serious as we do ? A comedian? A funny Swede? A funny woman!?
  20. A new document was lodged with Companies House on 13 May. It relates to the Vibrac loan. It's just a change of what the loan is secured with. It's no longer secured against tv money for the 2012/13 season and 'Receivables' "in excess of the amount due or owing by the company to the Lender under Finance Documents". It's still secured against next season's tv revenue (2013/14). Incidentally, Fulham took out a loan with them this week.
