That awkward moment when you find out that the project has been overseen by two Kopites and a Man City fan. It shouldn't matter but it leaves a sour taste know your own club's design was overseen by a fan of a rival club.
Also, this is a screenshot from the video:

I can't help but disagree with some of the viewpoints on that page, laurels and shape of the crest in particular..
historic - remove or modernise
heritage - remove
tradition - modernise/more concise (it's actually wider)
historic/tradition - remove.
It seems so backward.
Although having said that, I do agree with the decision to remove NSNO.
I didn't realise that Koppaberg and Devon Cider Company drinks were that strong.
I tweeted it earlier, the guy who designed it works for Everton but also freelances. This is his website: http://www.itsmilk.co.uk/About-MILK
I was in two minds whether to make it public knowledge, but as the club named the guy on the official site there's no harm in it.
I may be misjudging it, but if people are hand-selected to be on a fan-panel and are asked by the club what they think about the proposed designs, I think they will be reluctant to speak against it as they would want to be on a panel again in the future.
It could be worse, 32 year olds could be signing extensions at a time when we don't have an active manager..oh.* *I'm find with Hitzelsperger signing an extension, providing he's in the new manager's plans. I don't understand why Osman was allowed to sign one when his contract doesn't expire 'til next year and the new manager could have made a decision based on whether Osman still has something to offer.
Did you see @Everton on Twitter earlier retweet a ManUtd Press Office tweet? They retweeted that Phelan and Steele have left Man Utd.. basically Everton are paying a manager and announcing the decisions he's making for another club. The situation is idiotic.

Last year, the away kit was unveiled on 31 May, the home kit on 12 July and third kit on 12 August.
It used to be the case that the players would wear the new kit on the last day of the season, but this doesn't seem to happen any more.
I don't think he ever came close to being sacked, there was a stage where we lost six consecutive games in 2005 and there was still no threat of sacking him. Some people did call for him to go but I seem to remember most people wanting him Moyes to stay.
There were rumours the players were being worked too hard by Moyes and some players were unhappy with training but that's all I can remember.
*Apparently* Pereira has had an offer from Everton and the offer of an extension at Porto, according to http://www.DN.pt journalist Gonçalo Lopes Pereira will make a decision by Monday.
